2008 Atherton bagpipe in African blackwood. This instrument features custom profiles, mount shapes, and combing and beading, requested by the customer.
The projecting mounts are African blackwood in the old 'parrot's beak' style.
The mouthpiece and bushes are made of buffalo horn. Hemp stops are blackwood, threaded on separately. The engraved sterling silver ferrules and ring caps are threaded onto the wood.
